Thanks to our space partners somewhereto_, we have now secured the venues for the #citizenrelay reporter training roadshow between the 3rd and 6th of May across various locations in Scotland. We will be offering free training in social media, citizen reporting and much more.
The tour kicks off in Inverness at the fantastic Eden Court Theatre on the 4th of May, sign up your interest to attend a public community media cafe between 9-10am in the cafe or apply to be a #citzenrelay reporter on the route. Sign up using the facebook here.
We then move to Aberdeen on the 4th, hosted at the Aberdeen Art Gallery, they’ll be a full day of activity for successful reporters, as well as a chance to plan ahead of the torch relay in June. Come down in the morning to chat about getting involved as partner or tell us your stories, or sign up to be a reporter to qualify for support to attend the event. The training returns to Glasgow at the CCA on Saturday the 5th of May, where we will be running workshops and discussion groups around the involvement of the torch relay on the West Coast. Got a story or community group, get in touch or sign up to the Facebook event.
The training roadshow concludes on the 6th of May at Inspace, a wonderful and unusual design and laboratory space provided by New Media Scotland, where we will be wrapping up the reporter training and looking to recruit partners on the route.
